Lighthouse Christian Academy is a Christ-centered homeschool community serving families with children in PK–8th grade in Warren, Michigan and surrounding communities.
Lighthouse is partnered with Renewal Church in Warren, MI and was built from a simple belief: Families should not have to choose between the freedom of homeschooling and the community, enrichment, relationships, and experiences children gain from learning alongside others.
We exist to come alongside homeschool families—supporting parents, creating meaningful opportunities for children, and building a community where families can learn, grow, worship, serve, and belong together.
Mission
To partner with Christian homeschool families by providing affordable, enriching, Christ-centered learning experiences where children are known, supported, challenged, and encouraged to become who God created them to be.
Vision
To cultivate a thriving Christian homeschool community where children know God, think deeply, love learning, discover their gifts, serve others, and confidently walk in their God-given purpose.
We envision Lighthouse as a place where families experience both the freedom to homeschool differently and the community to never have to do it alone.

Lighthouse was founded on the belief that every child has been created by God with gifts, purpose, potential, and a light meant to shine.
Education is about more than academics.
We desire to help children know God, understand His Word, develop wisdom and Christlike character, discover what God has placed within them, and learn to use their gifts to serve others and impact the world around them.

Our Statement of Faith
Lighthouse Christian Academy is an intentionally Christian homeschool community grounded in the truth and authority of God's Word.
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for truth, faith, character, and Christian living.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose again, and that salvation is found through faith in Him.
We believe every person is created in the image of God, possesses inherent worth and dignity, and has been created with God-given gifts and purpose.
We believe parents hold a God-given responsibility in the nurture, discipleship, and education of their children, and Lighthouse exists to come alongside families in that work.
We believe Christian education should develop the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, creatively, and physically.
We believe our faith should be lived through love, character, service, compassion, integrity, and the way we engage with others.
At Lighthouse, Christ isn't simply one part of the day.
He is at the center of who we are.
